About the album
Face is Jimin's debut solo EP, released March 24, 2023. "Set Me Free Pt.2" was the pre-release; "Like Crazy" is the lead, and is the song that made Jimin the first solo Korean artist to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The EP is short — five tracks — and tightly conceptual: each song traces a stage of self-confrontation, from the noisy panic of "Face-off" through the introspective "Alone" to the cathartic release of "Like Crazy". It's deliberately the dance-pop opposite of Jin's later Happy or RM's Indigo.
Sequences in the gallery for Face split between the soft pinks of "Like Crazy" and the sharper, monochrome "Set Me Free Pt.2" choreography — the latter is one of the more challenging sequences to time because the choreography is visually busy.
