About the album
Hope on the Street Vol.1 is the six-track special album released March 29, 2024, alongside j-hope's documentary series of the same name (which traces the global street-dance scene that shaped him). Released while he was still serving in the military, it's a deliberate love letter to dance.
"Neuron", featuring legendary Korean hip-hop figures Gaeko and Yoon Mirae, is the lead and the album's clearest mission statement — fast, brassy, choreography-first. "I Wonder..." with Jungkook is the gentler ballad that gets the most repeat listens in the BTS-fan crossover zone.
Because j-hope was enlisted at release, the album sat without live performances until Hope on the Stage in 2025 finally toured the material.
