About the album
MUSE is Jimin's second EP, released July 19, 2024 while he was serving in the military. He described it as documenting his search for the source of his inspiration — a counterpart to Face, which was about confronting his identity.
"Who" is the lead and the most universally-played track of his solo career to date. "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" — the pre-release with Loco — has its own MV and is widely cited by fans as the more "Jimin" of the two; "Closer Than This" was originally written as a fan-dedicated song and became one of the most emotionally direct tracks in any BTS member's solo catalogue.
Sequences for MUSE in the gallery are still building — Jimin couldn't perform any of the tracks live during enlistment, and the album lacks the tour-based reference footage other solo records benefited from.
