The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1 (HYYH Pt.1) is the album where everything pivoted. Released April 2015, it's the EP that gave them their first music-show wins, kicked off the BTS Universe (BU) storyline, and — for many ARMYs — was the first BTS release that felt like a complete world rather than a collection of songs.

"I Need U" is the lead and the song most associated with the era's cinematic MVs, which start the seven-character narrative that runs across HYYH Pt.2, Young Forever, and the Wings short films. "Dope" became their hardest-working song internationally for years — its choreo + speed are still a stress-test for any new sequence designer.

The album's tone is youth captured at the moment of fragility: beauty intertwined with insecurity. Sequences for HYYH Pt.1 in the gallery tend to be soft pinks and pastel blues for "I Need U", energetic strobes for "Dope", and gentler fades for "Hold Me Tight".
