About the album
Wake Up is BTS's first Japanese studio album, released December 24, 2014. Most of the tracklist is Japanese-language reworkings of their early Korean catalogue — "No More Dream", "Boy in Luv", "Danger", "Jump" — alongside a handful of original Japanese tracks like the title cut.
It's a useful album for completionists more than a frequent gallery starting-point: the Japanese vocals shift the timing of the choruses subtly, so existing sequences for the Korean originals don't always carry over cleanly. ARMYs who design for Japan-tour setlists tend to source from this album rather than the Korean originals.
